I'd like to ask your membership for some help obtaining eyewitness accounts for a specific incident in which a relative was killed in Vietnam, what's the best way to do that? Our members are happy to assist, the best thing to do is post your message on our NOTAM Board. Also, if you have not already done so, check our KIA Incidents site for specific details and eyewitness accounts.
OUR MEMBERS ASK... I used to be a member but have let my dues lapse, how to I sign back up? Send annual dues to POPASMOKE Admin, 28101 Florence Street, St Clair Shores, MI 48081-1617. You can download the form from the FNG page on the website. I'm not sure if I'm a current member, how can I find out? 1. Check our online membership database. If your name is in gray letters, your membership status is inactive. 2. If you receive a mailing label on any document from POPASMOKE, check your status on the label. You will be able to check your "Dues/Membership status, your Primary Squadron, your accurate mailing address, and your accurate e-mail address. If any are wrong, fill out the corrections form and submit it as directed. 3. If you are receiving nothing, send e-note to history@popasmoke.com or snail mail to: POPASMOKE Admin, 414 Tala Drive, Concord, NC 28027-1746 If I fill out the online "FNG" form, does that automatically make me a member of the Association? No it doesn't. You become a member of the Association only after we receive your annual dues payment. Once payment is received, your membership information is entered in the master database, and you will start receiving the Association newsletter. How do I notify the association of my new e-mail address? Two things: You need to fill out the Directory Update/Corrections Form and send it online. Go to our electronic e-mail subscribe page and unsubscribe, then subscribe again with the correct information. The electronic mailing list is updated with your name once you have replied to the verification e-mail sent to you. How can I obtain a popasmoke.com e-mail address? You must be an active member in the association. Go here for more information. How do I submit photos to be added to the POPASMOKE website? Our images and information catalog section is at www.popasmoke.com/visions. Users may submit photos directly to our website. Images must be JPG format and under 128kb in size. Submitter assigns image to one or more available categories. If you have problems submitting images, contact the webmaster. Be advised, submitted images will not appear on our website until approved by POPASMOKE staff. I'd like a copy of one of the photos in the Visions of Vietnam section but I can't save it to my hard disk, the message says contact webmaster@popasmoke.com Send an e-mail to webmaster@popasmoke.com and ask for a copy of the photo in question.
