VMO-3 Command Chronology - Jan 1-31, 1968

18 Jan: Twelve armed escort missions were flown in support of the Special forces in classified missions, VT-9 crashed into the water at AT 894969. The crew chief and gunner SSGT FAIR and SSGT SPRING were killed.
