Comment on Incident

On 5 October 1969, while flying as an aerial gunner on a medevac mission, nineteen miles southwest of Da Nang, LCpl. Lenhard's aircraft, piloted by 1stLt. Jim Stewart, was on the ground picking up a medevac in a hot zone. LCpl. Lenhard took a small arms/automatic round in the armpit.
