Family Information:
I never knew my father. He was killed in action before I turned 2 years old. I did not know until seeing this site that another Marine was killed with him, nor did I know that his body was not recovered until months later. Where might I get a full incident report? Any ideas how I might contact someone in Sgt. Monteith's family?
