Russ Randell/HMM-362 Pilot

Can anyone help me locate HMM-362 Pilot Russ Randell. Tour of duty should have been about mid 65 until mid July 66. Possibly last ride with 362 may have ended with a tail-rotor failure and subsequent a/c loss on July 18, 66 in MoDuc/DucPho area. This was an ARVN med-evac with 4 on board. Russ Randell? Wasn't he (also) in VMO-2, 67 to 68? I heard he transitioned to A-4's afterwards. Or was that P.D.Lyons? Can't remember anything anymore.

Both Russell T Randell and Perry D Lyons Jr are listed on the roster of people who served with VMO-2 in RVN. Both are indicated as still being alive.

Found two phone listings nationwide for Randell with no middle initial and seven for Lyons, one of which shows a middle initial of D.

Last seen in 1970, both Majors, Russ Randall and P.D. Lyons, were in VMA-324 at MCAS Beaufort, S.C. Russ, a temporary Major, was later caught up in the post Vietnam redution in force (RIF), and was released from the Marine Corps; but P.D. Lyons, by then a permament Major, stayed on. As many of you remember, during the Vietnam buildup, many officers were promoted quickly to temporary ranks, most of which were later converted to permament, but some were not. I remember both fondly.
