George,

Attached are 2 pictures of YR-23 that were taken 12/78' in Unchon S. Korea. I was amazed that it was the same A/C that had been described in your earlier post as "The most combat damaged CH-46 in Nam?" You'll be happy to know that she was still working her butt off hauling grunts and junk for our beloved Corps.

FYI

154803 was the helicopter that lifted the US ambassador off the roof in Saigon in 1975. Retired to Norfolk, VA .

154807, now a CH-46E, was last noted as active with HMM-262, coded ET-05, in December 2002.
