a bright orange chopper ?

While at Ky Ha in '66' and in need of 34s, HMM 363 recieved one from the Navy that had been flying SAR (Sea, Air, Rescue missions). Before it could be painted Marine green it had to fly an emergancy mission. I often wondered what the enemy forces must have thought upon seeing a bright orange chopper coming their way.
Does anyone remember this episode besides myself?
