I just wanted to contact you to say Thank you!!!

I just saw the memorial for my brother Robert Michael
Cheek. Although it has been 35 years it seems like only yesterday that I was waiting for my "bubby" to come home.

I would love to be able to have copies of any photographs that people have of him. Do you know anyway to get copies. It still hurts so much but I can smile through the tears thinking about what a special guy he was.

George,

I've been told that a sister of a brother Marine is looking for pictures. I've tried to email this one to her but I guess her server won't accept it.

His name was Robert Cheek and I was on the recovery team that spent the night in the zone with the aircraft and recovered the bodies.

I don't know where her post is on NOTAM, but am sure you could find it.
