HOw do we get our dd-214 corrected so the unit citations show up ?

You need to fill out a DD149 (download a copy here: (www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/infomgt/forms/eforms/dd0149.pdf) ) and send it in to the address on the back of the form. Tell them which awards are missing from your record.

You might need a cite to the Unit Awards Manual. The current version (NAVMC 2922 15 Oct 2008) is online in pdf form here (https://www.manpower.usmc.mil/pls/portal/url/ITEM/241A157C3765EBE5E0409C8A41455853) .
