the following site has among other things copies of our after action reports, our own handwriting and signatures, pretty neat.

go to www.vietnam.ttu.edu/vietnamarchive/collections/browse/i.php

Wally,
I few several missions in RVN, more than some less than others, no doubt. I like to think I remember most of them, although it has been over 40 years ago for some of that activity. Looking at this info from the site you posted above has indicated that I don't remember nearly as much as I thought! Not only that, but many things aren't as I remember them. While I know what A/C I crewed and flew in much of the time, there were very many I didn't remember, also crewmembers I don't recall either! What a flood of recollections these files are bringing back! On one flight there was a HAC named Reed (Major Van Reed), and a Crew of Reed (L/Cpl Joe H.) and Reeves! Seems like that one would be one to remember, but I have NO memory of it whatsoever! Dang!!!
I hope others peruse this info, 'cause it is really interesting to find it. Pilots have their logbooks to refer to, but enlisted crewmwmbers have only what records they decided to keep on thier own, which was usually NOTHING!
