:( Have tried to find or see what happen to R D after 69-11-17 ,as He was
acting Gunner that day for #8 in which Tom Rogers was KIA. Still think about them still 39 years later. I last saw MAC in Danang MED the day or so after
they got shot down. Thats the last time I saw him,and he ask me to write his girl, and tell her he was OK. Mac was our section leader at the time on his second tour,so no one knew til later that he had gone as Gunner. Mac had a
wired jaw (taking a hit from a ak-47) so could not talk, Gut shot and Leg as I remember. Just would really like to know what ever became of McReynolds?
Must be some one that could help put my mind to rest . JJ God Bless

Hey Tim, He's been on my list of "looking for" also. He and a Lt. Bill Draper were my favorites. Lt. Wiley liked my c-rat canteen coffee brewed up in the engine compartment. At the time everything was switching over to the plastic canteens, so I had to make sure I held on to the metal ones when I could. I went to show my wife where I used to heat coffee and c-rats (and on occasion explode a can of forgotten ham&limas) when we were in the HMMT-164 bird at the 2010 Reno reunion but there is no ledge anymore. The engine compartment was stuffed with engine! For some reason Arkansas sticks in my mind for Lt. Wiley.

Dale they most likely called him Tim, instead of James. I had noticed that as well. The metal ones were disappearing for some reason. Most likely the noise they made when hitting something. They change the Birds up a lot when they add a modification. I had noticed that when I first got to see one after, by then, was 25 plus years. I believe the Texas Tech Archive would be one of the best ways to find someone. Hope you are sucessful. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.

That is a fact Tim. He may have been in 262, but He was also in 265, as we Flew Many-Many Missions together in '69. There is only 'ONE' Stoney. I'm most Proud to be his Friend, and I am his, as well. Semper Fi, and READY-APP.
Stoney was not in 262 I know him from flying civilian helicopters here in the Northeast, met him in WPalm at a Sikorsky conference a long time ago and he flew part time for our company Unisys.
