One of our members of HMM-263 is in need of a handicapped room at the up coming reunion and has made arrangements with the hotel for one. He was told that there hasn't been a request by our organization for rooms such as this type to be set aside for our use. I'm assuming that there might be others with a need for special rooms also. Is there some way to assure that these rooms will be available for our members.

Marines:

We have a total of 985 rooms reserved for us out of 1119 total. I do not believe that handicap rooms will be an issue. Reunion packets will go out in March.

I don't care who has insider info. No rooms will be released until the reunion packets go out with Bruce's approval. I will find out what happened regarding the renting of a handicap room and will report back.

The Hotel does not know how the handicap room was rented, but it was. The rooms for Popasmoke are now back in lockdown until released by Bruce - and only Bruce.

There are two types of handicap rooms. The first has the extra hand holds with the standard tub. The second type has a roll in shower for use with wheel chairs. Be sure to request the style of room that you will need when the rooms become available.

Rooms will be available for reservations on 3/10. Packets went out yesterday and we wanted to give everyone the chance to get their package before we released the rooms.
