View Full Version : incident report
I am trying to find a way of getting an incident report for a mission I was on on 22 March of 1967. I received a Bronze star with "V" I was on a resupply and medivac in support of company B, First Battalion, Fourth Marines.
I was a crewchief aboard YZ-75. I would like to contact someone about that day that new or knows the Marine from Bravo 1/4 that was the real hero. This Marine or medic was helping Marines to my bird while mortar rounds were going off all around us. I would really appreciate your help.

You may want to start here: http://www.i-mef.usmc.mil/div/1mar/1bn4/
Although this is a site for the current active 1/4 Marines you may want to leave a post in the forum and see if any of the old timers are watching.
Good luck.

go to " website help " at the bottom of the notam webpage and click " vietnam archives........."
Link is to a geat website that has command chronologies.
load search dates 02/01/1967 - 03/31/1967. March command chronology is included with February's. Doesn't give you exactly what you're looking for, but shows what was recorded for those days.
The PDF file is 1.8 meg so I couldn't load it

Maze,
When you open the Texas site, use only HMM-363 as the keyword. In a short time they site will display a number for the files found for HMM-363. Then ask it to display files found by clicking "display files". It will take several minutes to open, but will show all records from your squadron from what ever month you select. By the way, select After Action Report Mission Credits for flight crew information. Should find mention of any special circumstances therein.
Good luck!
