When this Marine jumped on the bus that we had chartered to take us to the Marine Barracks Evening Parade I half-expected him to yell "Awright, youse maggots! Get your useless civilian asses off this bus and put your feet on the yellow footprints that are painted on the blacktop!"

Instead, the Marine was welcoming our Squadron to the Marine Barracks at 8th and I to witness one of the most splendid military drill and music presentations to be performed anywhere in the world.

Your pictures are really great, but could I make a suggestion and ask a favor of you?

Would you consider posting them to the Visions section? There is considerably more storage area available there for pictures; just a thought.

Del, this is speedy, thanks for sharing. I was looking forward to going not only to be with you guys and all that I served with, but to see if I could finally bring myself to see the Wall, then the buttom fell off and I could not go. Who knows, maybe one of these days I will be able to overcome my feelings and at least see the Traveling Wall. Thanks again BROTHER...speedy:(

We missed you. Since our reunion in 2006 we've lost Paul Maynard and Pete Quintero. We never know if we'll ever see each other again. I hope that we'll be there at our next reunion, wherever it may be.
