Passing of MSGT Wilson D. "Moe" Shelton, USMC (RET)

MSGT Wilson D. "Moe" Shelton, USMC (RET), flew west on Sunday morning, June 28, 2009. Moe had been under hospice care in Concord, NC for a month suffering through multiple brain tumors. Moe was an individual with many friends, no enemies - a friend to all who knew him - a "good ol' boy".

Dian Shelton will provide additional details as funeral arrangements are completed. Moe served with VMO-2 (OV-10's) from '69 through '70 and served later as a USMC Drill Instructor.

Thanks for letting us know Al ! Its with a heavy heart that I pass on this new's,but then the Prayers Go up for Dian and All the Family. I believe I had a meeting with Moe when I was in Nam,and cross paths a few times. God Please put your Arms around this family as they travel down this path. Let them know that you are there for each and everyone of them .
