Hello fellow members, i'm a new member and very honored.i'm a marine veteran who served active from jun 65'-aug 69' mos 0811.i served in country may 66 till jun 67 in chu lai, and da nang.i was at parris island in april 69 serving as a pmi at mcrd, when i got the bad news. Helicopter crash in quang tri killing one of my best friend's from high school.william (bill) hodges bazemore.i have lost other friends and hooch mates but i think of bill every day.i started a profile on him at "together we served.com" a while back and would like for any members or family to log on and fill in any blanks or additions that they would like.i have talked to bill at the wall many times, however this year (2010) i will be at his gravesite in norfolk,va. Let me know if anyone else who knew "the scrounger" thank you all at popasmoke and semper fi. Captjack60

Bill lived in the same hootch as I did. I was in vietnam Jan69 to Jan70. I remember Bazes smile. He lite
up a room.
