Message: My father, a proud Marie Corp pilot from Vietnam is turning 70 shortly. I would like to get him something unique that will bring memories. I know that his experience in the Corp and as a gunship pilot in Vietnam is one of his most cherished memories. As such, I am reaching out to this group for any idea that might guide me to the right place. I have thought about scrap parts from a bird similar to those he flew back then, or perhaps a trip back to Vietnam. If you guys have any suggestions on a good place to locate either of those items I would be very grateful.

My father’s name is (Capt.) Al Monroe , I am sure he is a member here.

Thank you,
[QUOTE] my son Douglas, is competing in the Tough Mudder competition this month in Jacksonville, FL to benefit Wounded Warriors. How about posting it on website to see if anyone is interested in helping. See the message below. Thanks, John

As many of you may know, Doug is participating in the Tough Mudder competition this summer with several other ERA leaders.

Their goal is to raise $10,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project, which supports members of the Armed Forces that were wounded in service to our country.

I would encourage you to make a donation to Doug's team at this link:
