Pensacola Museum after hurricanes

Does anyone out there know how our outdoor displays of H34, 37 and other aircraft fared in the storm? The museum itself?

The news just said all the buildings of the base sustained "some damage" so I am wondering how the old aircraft did in the storm.

My source is a friend who is the Flag Secretary to COMNAVAIRLANT:

Pensacola took a major hit. They are scrambling to find training facilities for some 5000 SNA's.

He believes that the museum is OK but cannot verify.

I have relatives in Pensacola who foolishly stayed. We have yet to find or hear form them.

As for the truckdriver who was dumped into Escambia Bay as the Interstate Ten Bridge collapsed, he gets a "down" for basic headwork!!
