Looking in Hawaii ???

I have come up with the personnel roster for HMM 261 for 1962 . have been looking up the guys . I have the centerfold from the stars and strips of a unit down in a rice paddy . Found one of the guys [ Sgt John Winter { who stayed in for 20 }] Had a copy made and sent it on. The other guy is Cpl. Donald Higashihara . Searhing white pages the only ones listed are in Hawaii . Just checked the current phone directory for Honolulu. Sorry to report no Donald Higashihara shown. Have 7 others with same last name, but no Don or Donald. May be on one of the "outer islands" (Maui, Big Island, Kauai). Good luck!

thanks for trying . only other place i could think to look was okinawa, and i couldn't find an english phone directory . this project is getting real interesting. not as easy i thought it would be . thanks again " middy "
