    Viewed and Listened to each and every one of them. Outstanding! Brought a tear to my eye when the APP start-up sequence kicked in. One can never forget some of those sounds. The .50 cal. gun shoots bring back great memories of another era, another location ... Same great CH-46!

    And the good news is that it will be with the Corps thru 2114. I guess after 50years and 3 major conflicts, it just might be time to retire this old bird. I can recall my first flight in one of the A models way back in July of 1965 and then after getting my HAC papers, I recall ferrying one back from the from the Boeing Factory in Lansdowne PA cross country to HMM 164 at MCAF Santa Ana. That trip was a hell of a lot faster than the year before when we had flown one of the last H-34's from Stratford Ct to Santa Ana...Great video! It brought back many warm memories.....s/f Mike
