I was Fly 2 PO aboard the USS Iwo Jima LPH-2 I went on Deck to land a helo having engine trouble and it went down in the water. This was January 1971, we rescued all 23 alive if any one was on that helo I have pictures in my cruise book and a copy of the actual deck log with all the names I got from the National Archives Bill
