I have read how this journey will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, but I'm hoping the needle is large and thank anyone for possible information.

I'm searching for the pilot who used this call sign on Aug. 2, 1969, at Quang Tri who rescued my fiance after he stepped on a toe popper, and brought him to the USS Valley Forge.

He speaks of you often, and it would be an honor and privilege to thank you for saving his life, and for all the other lives you saved.

He was a USMC Flames Demolition in the 2/26, 2nd Bn H&S Co, G Co, MOS 0351

Thank you!
