Korean War Marine Helos

I have a question about the names of the Marine helicopters flown during Korean War: 1950-1953

The HRS (H-19) was given the official name CHICKASAW

The HTL (H-13) was given the official name SIOUX

The HO3S was given the official name DRAGONFLY

Did the Marines give any un-official names to these three types of aircraft? Like during Vietnam the CH-46 was a SEA KNIGHT but was more often called a FROG, and the UH-34 was called a DOG.

Not the Helicopter its self but the HO5S engine we called the "Horribly Opposed engine" because the helicopter was so underpowered. Of Course it was a horizonally Opposed engine setting with the shaft up right. In hot weather we would run down the dirt strip with a load to get a takekeoff. Allyn, Worked on HRS's from 1952 until 1959 including Korea 53-54. We always called them HRS's.

I was with HMR163 53-54. What you always referred to as the HRS, our pet term for the 19 was the "Guppie" because of the distinctive shape.
