    Hml-767

Did not see it on here, so I started one for HML-767. HML-767 transitioned to the Huey when they traded in their 46's around 1979. Now it is HMLA-773 Det B I believe. Could be wrong about the Det letter.

After 767 deactivated it was redesignated HMLA-775 Det A. They were redesignated again to HMLA-773 Det B a few years ago.

Thanks for the reminder, I forgot about the 775 designation. I left the unit and Reserves in 1995 roughly a year after HML-767 was deactivated. As I understand it there is a possibility that New Orleans may lose the squadron/unit in the future. The Marine Air Wing Reserve does not look like it did when I first joined it in '88 when I got off of active duty and there have been a lot of changes.
