Before LCpl English was Famous 1969

This plane belongs to Capt Bowers, Cpl Baker and LCpl English. Its a reminder of things to come. A year after this photo was taken, Cpl English of the comedy troupe Trainor & English or, as referred to by the Navys Approach magazine as Cpl A and Cpl B, competed in the How Drunk Can I Get and Still Crash a CH-46 held at Luke AFB in Arizona. The result was one damaged and one destroyed. These two fine Marines are possibly the only enlisted HACs on record. Cpl Foote doesnt count. He stole an A-4.
