I was a 463 crew chief who also flew on this mission I believe the flight line maint. officer Capt Chipalta (Spl) designed the bomb sites on the front bubble. They worked very well on the mission.Sgt Lightle nicknamed us the 463 rd rotary wing bomber squadron. Just my 02 Bob Gay -Submitted by: Bob Gay [my300se@hotmail.com] 2007-02-10

For accuracy's sake it the Maintenance Officer was my roommate Capt. Cipolla and the designer of the bomb sight was Capt. Bob Coday. For a couple pieces of tape located just so it was accurate as can be. -Submitted by: Bill Beardall [bill_beardall@ncsu.edu] 2009-07-13

We participated in the largest napalm delivery in a day in Naval Air history. Nice to know it worked on NVA command post set in caves protected by a cluster of hills. BDA=120. Good to see Bustamante picture. I only know the maint.chief as Shoe. Bill Kalish,Dimmer44, 11/69-11/70 -Submitted by: Bill Kalish [bkalish67@bellsouth.net] 2010-04-26
