Phu Bai Air Base, Thừa Thiên-Huế Province (Hue City) - October 1969. A photo of Mama-sans (US slang, adopted from Korean, for civilian Vietnamese women). These mama-sans were hooch maids who cleaned hooches and barracks. This was a real change from Quang Tri Air Base where neither mama-sans nor Vietnamese were permitted.
