VMGR C130s Hanging in there Khe Sanh 68

The C130s of VMGR hung in there and took a beating along with everyone else. This C130 daily ( when possible) mail run is turning around to take off and taking Heavy Incoming but remaining at a steady taxi speed. The ramps were down on these Cargo Aircraft as arriving and departing Marines had to jump on or off as required. The pilots held a steady slow taxi speed even when getting incoming to ensure the troops could get on and off. These enlisted VMGR crews recieved the coveted Combat Air Crew Wings and they earned them.
