USMC A4 Shot Down Khe Sanh TET 68

This USMC A4 was shot down just outside the perimeter of Khe Sanh, TET 68. In the forground are the Helicopter revetments. The pilot was rescued byone of HMM-364s ( Puple Foxes) CH-46Ds ( see photo #1761) with HML-367s (SCARFACE Hover Cover) UH-1E Huey Gunships providing cover.This is CLOSE AIR SUPPORT both by the A4 pilot for the troops at Khe SAnh and the Helicopter Crews that rescued the Pilot.
