Date was 26th October 1970, near Da Nang, crashed following maintenance, 1 crewmember killed.

The crew chielf, Sgt. Thomas A. Geobel was killed in this crash at Da Nang while saving the pilots.

My father, Capt. Wayne Campbell, Dimmer 53, was the pilot who was saved by Goebel. I have all of the declassified information on the wreck if anyone wants to see it. Just email me at tcpr@gate.nt
