I believe I am the Doc ("Twig") in this photo, though I do not know who took the picture. I was one of the MAG-16 Flying Docs stationed at MMAF 1970-71. I flew with HMM 364 and HMM 263, depending on which squadron had medevac duty that day/night. I'm certain it's me because hands are as recognizable and unique as fingerprints. Those are my hands, I'm sure. And the wounded patient I'm working on is more likely ARVN soldier; we routinely stripped some wounded troops to check for multiple shrapnel wounds or major bleeding. Semper Fi. HM2 Basham, AKA Doc Twig
