I was a Chaplains Assistant at Chu Lais DivArty chapel (formerly Ky Ha Chapel) during 1971. I lived in the back of the chapel. These are the first pictures I've seen of KY Ha - the early years. Was there a dirt berm around the hilltop then? By 1971 no berm was there just sloped down through levels of perimeter wire and afforded a marvelous view. The Officers Club hung out on the edge, I thought it a wonder it was not attacked too. I don't remember that large round thing behind the club. My pics are at fb, Van Coi Orphanage Chu Lai Vietnam. peace, Tom Brogan -Submitted by: Tom Brogan [tbro50@msn.com] 2011-02-12

There was also a sign at the top of the hill saying HOLY WATER to the left and FIRE WATER to the right. -Submitted by: Edward (joe) Williams [js3788@earthlink.net] 2006-07-25
