The Snoopy image does indeed belong to H&MS-17, MWSG-17, DaNang. I was with the unit from April 1969 thru Feb 1971. The wing pulled out of RVN late 1970 and relocated back to Iwakuni. This particular image, I believe, was one of the many signs that adorned our bunkers and/or hooches. C-117D tail # 122 also had the Snoopy image as nose art with the words ďMiss Olongapo CityĒ underneath. Thank you for including something from H&MS-17 as I started to believe it was all a dream and it never existed. We flew H-34ís, C-117Dís, US-2Bís, C-1ís and after going back to Japan we took on several C-54ís and lost the H-34ís.
