A CH-46 Sea Knight flies

A CH-46 Sea Knight flies toward USS Kitty Hawk during a replenishment at sea on April 13, 2003. America’s oldest active warship, Kitty Hawk, with embarked Carrier Air Wing 5, currently operates with coalition forces in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein. The Navy CH-46 in the picture was from Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Eleven (HC-11) out of NAS North Island, San Diego. I had 2300 hours in that aircraft and seven deployments. No aircraft could ever match the 46. Phrogs 4ever!
