i served with India co. 3/5 ist. marines div. from june 1969 until i was wounded nov.1969 half way on the road to Liberty bridge we were maning the road .
i was 0331 machine gunner. i was medcial retired on
feb.1971 ,retired as a cpl . it took 13 months to recover from my wound and another to learn to walk
again. it been pretty hard ,because i was only 19 years old and still walk with big lip aand no knee cap no thig muscle and 8MM short left leg.but i'll doing again if i couldn't.
