U.S. Navy crash at Quang Tri

This U.S. Navy Corsair made an Emergency landing at Quang Tri
Thanks for posting that photo. I witnessed that landing. The pilot jumped out and waved. we all cheered! // L2345319@aol.com
The picture is correct. I was in the Sea-Bees, attached to MCB-10 when the plane landed. It caused quite a stir around there. Regards, William S. Cade, Steelworker 2nd class, USN, Wscade@aol.com

I remember this plane crashing quite well. In fact, I have a copy of the photo from the newspaper clipping in my scrap book

I watched this plan circle two or three times before landing. I have almost the exact same picture I must have been standing next to who ever took this picture. I was with Bravo Co. 1/3. They put this plane in a hanger and flew in a new engine and flew it out a few days later on the Helo strip.

When this jet took off it was covered in Seabee stickers.
