Colonel Gomez was the CO of MAG 16. He frequently flew down from Okniwa to Da Nang but was not there most of the time.

Where is this chow hall? I was in the Navy at Camp Tien Sha beneath Monkey Mountain. Prior to that time I was in the Security Department living in the Marine Barracks on Naval Station Adak, Alaska.

I WILL NEVER FORGET THANKSGIVING DINNER IN 65. WE HAD RABBIT FROM AUSTRALIA AND DUCK FROM SOMEWHERE AND ABOUT 10 5 GALLON CANS FULL OF CASHEWS. WOW. DID WE EVER STUFF OUR POCKETS AND HATS WITH CASHEWS. THE DUCK AND RABBIT WAS WONDERFUL TOO. BETTER THAN ANY TURKEY I EVER ATE. MIGHT HAVE BEEN BECAUSE THE REST OF OUR FOOD SUCKED. HA HA
