LTC John W. Alber, USMC (Ret.)
Big John (Poor Devil 6 Actual) is gravely ill in Hospice Care of NJ at St. Joseph's Hospital in Wayne, NJ. His ongoing dementia has been complicated by pneumonia, various infections, swallowing difficulties, and he has stopped eating.
The best way to send your support is by email to his son and family who have lovingly and loyally supported John through increasingly difficult times for the last five years. (We should all be so lucky as to have that level of family support and care as we age. Well done, Ritchie and Stephanie!!!)
Contact them at: rnsalber@email.msn.com
Their home address is 25 Linda Place, Fanwood, NJ 07023. They have their hands full now and may not be able to acknowledge right away but appreciate the support of John's fellow Marines.
Jake, would you please pass this along through the HMM-262 network. Thank you.
Nora, come and take John home one more time.
Semper Fi,
Ralph and Kathy Orey

Prayers for John W. Alber
John Alber is not doing very well as his Alzheimers/Dementia has progressed to a critical point. John was in Vietnam with HMM-362 ('63-'64) then HMM-262 ('66-'67). This great Pilot, great Marine and great man needs your prayers in this final battle.
Thank you all.
