    Charles “Chuck” Leroy Linn
    October 17, 1941 - May 04, 2017

    Charles “Chuck” Leroy Linn, of McAlester, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Mitchell Manor Nursing Home.

    He was born October 17, 1941 in Adrian, Michigan to Leroy and Leila (Stahl) Linn.

    Chuck had a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. He held many positions during his working years and was lastly was a self-employed computer consultant. During retirement, Linda and Chuck enjoyed cross country travel on their Harley-Davidson and 40 ft. motor home along with entertaining friends and family as the smoke-master.

    Chuck is survived by his wife: Linda Linn of the home; sons: Michael Linn and Eric Linn, both of Irving, Texas; step-daughters: Carrie Hester of Bakesfield, California, Tarrie Wilmoth of Pacifica, California; step-son: William Wilmoth and wife, Jenai of Pacifica, California.

    Also, six grandchildren: two great-grandchildren; brother: Leroy Linn and wife, Terrie of Wolcottville, Indiana; sister: Marsha Wagnor and husband, Bob of Manchester, Connecticut; nephew: Jeremy Linn and wife, Sally and their daughter, Brittany of Wolcottville, Indiana; and Basset Hound children: Fred and Missy.

    He was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Leila Linn, and Basset Hound child: Molly.

    A celebration of his life with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Robert B. Thomas VFW Post #1098 in McAlester.
