MAN DIES IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - A Roseland man was killed and another person was taken to a Melbourne hospital Tuesday evening after the Harley-Davidson motorcycle they were on collided with a Jeep Cherokee on U.S. 1 near Roseland Road.
Paramedics pronounced 57-year-old Donald M. Holmes dead at the scene.
His passenger, Teresa J. Tyrell, 39, of Grant, was in good condition Wednesday at Holmes Regional Medical Center after being in critical condition immediately after the crash, according to hospital officials.
Sebastian residents Luisa Bradford, 62, and 83-year-old Elena Dorn-Zamorano were not injured in the Jeep.
Holmes was northbound about 8:30 p.m. on U.S. 1 when he attempted to turn west on Roseland Road in front of the southbound Jeep, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Bradford was driving the Jeep and Dorn-Zamorano was in the passenger's seat.

The motorcycle hit the left fender of the Jeep.
