39 and rain. The only snow left is the piled up and drifted places.
Sorry to get an email from Mike saying their 46 acquisition fell through.
I went to visit his museum 2013 when the 262 Old Tigers had a reunion in Dallas he invited me over. I took some pilots and they all had a ball trying to squeeze into an OV-10 again.

Stayed above freezing all night at 40 and heading to 50 the next two days. Snow should be gone this week for sure and hopefully I can get tractor and cart out for a couple stumps I had ground up and haul the chips away for getting in some grass seed this spring.
No shot reaction around here from either brand.

Well, the great weather didn’t last. Knew it wouldn’t but it was really nice for a while. Rain is back and the temps are dropping….
Did get some porch railing painting done, slow and tedious, but the first coat is on there. Might try to straighten the garage and shop some.

I hope everyone is correct about easy hip surgery Joe. I still need to line up the clearances from Doctors.

Good luck with the shot Jardo, I never felt a thing. The VA is doing a much better job that the state around here.

      Dale,
Thanks for the Snap-On info. However the guy I was supposed to meet showed up yesterday. The price to rebuild was nearly what I paid new for it 20 years ago, but now they’re more than double that now and it’s the best air ratchet on the planet, as far as I know!!
Dale, as I ‘ve said here before, the hip rehab is far easier than a knee, say the guys that’ve had both, and their doctors, so there must be something to it. Hope yours goes well and as easy as possible!
Well, I bitched about rain and cold much of this winter season, but today it’s already 62* on the way to, get this, 72*!!! Unreal ! May actually get some painting done! Need to trim some trees and burn some wood trash stuff. Maybe not today, but soon!
      Stay safe and warm!

Cardiologist rescheduled for the third time. Now it’s off in March.
Okay, I have stuff to do anyway.

30’s sounds cold for Georgia also Joe. How’s that fireplace you put in the other year working out ?
I need to get to the wood pile out back to restock my bin at the shed but definitely too much snow for tractor and cart and I ‘d never be able to handle a wheelbarrow and cane at same time. Have to invite daughter to Sunday dinner and put son in-law to work.
Another coating overnight here. The weather gal said since December 1st that 70% of the days have had snow anywhere from 1 to 10 inches .

Jardo, winter is hanging tough this year – but have you seen the reports for Texas? All the way down to Houston and Galveston is getting hit. I would think being in hurricane country people would be set up with generators.

8 degrees but no more snow or ice overnight and it’s just high clouds. When I think of all the 0400 to 0600 mornings pulling out in this stuff heading down some shitty roads overloaded and thinking nothing of it – makes me really feel old now.
They keep saying we’ll get up to normal 39 for this time of year but it’s been over a month since we got up to 32 so I gotta head out and get some more salt today and some more deer corn for the 4-6 inches they say are coming tomorrow.

28 and we got the ice last night. Between the ice storm two years ago and the power company putting in new poles and wires this summer I have no more trees to give me any power problems out front.
No walking and definitely no HOT tubbing this morning. Just threw some magic salt on the steps and sidewalk out back and need to let it works awhile before getting to the garage and driveway.

A couple days ago the talking heads on tv were crying wolf about all the snow coming – today – well – it’s moved this way or that way and we won’t get as much but probably more ice than thought. I think it’s just a conspiracy by the grocery stores to get everyone stocked up on toilet paper.

Relax jardo – Punxsutawney Phil – the procrastinator of procrastinators – had not been able to see his shadow with all the snow coming down and therefore – Spring is just around the corner! (six-seven weeks or so)
I was able to handle the snowblower through six inches yesterday, took twice as long as I used the low speed and the reverse rather than just pulling it back, but I did no harm so I’m heading back out this morning for another three or more where it’s drifted with 9 degree wind-chill.
And as my buddy Gomer would say – Sirprize-Sirprize-Sirprise! The Butler VA hospital called and can give me a shot tomorrow.
