    All, especially the 46 Bubbas

Unfortunately, the Flying Leatherneck Museum in San Diego is closing.

There is a distinct possibility that we, the Fort Worth Aviation Museum could be getting some of their air craft.

In particular, Lady Ace, the 46 that pulled the ambassador off the roof of the Saigon Embassy in ’75.

Any of you that would like to make a donation to help move her from SD to FW and save her, please contact me.

    S/F!

    Mike

PS: Put this in two threads to get good coverage.

      Belay last all!

Others have spoken for her and Lady Ace is NOT on the FWAM acquisition list.

It would have been a nice addition to Patches at our museum, but it is not to be.

      Folks,
Mike is a good guy that I have known through PAS for many years. He has been instrumental in the ongoing of the Fort Worth Museum and has been looking for a phrog for many years, especially one in this condition. Hope everyone that can will help.
Dale, Mike asked about aft pylon removal for purposes of transport. I have never been involved in this depot level maintenance. I know there were some of you that went to Okinawa under Walt Jones supervision that were a part of the station 410 re-inforcement/upgrade on the old D and A model units. Please offer any advise you can…
