I have been researching this info for awhile and although not totally complete have had Wally post it on Popasmoke in the Stories area. It is relating to an emergency medivac that Jim Hobstetter flew while out "joy riding" the Generals slick. It's good reading and shows another example of the can do spirit of HML-167. We are pretty sure the crew chief is Dennis Lynn but I am trying to confirm with him. If anyone remembers further details please let me know. Also I am researching another medivac by a HML-167 gunship in the 68/69 time frame. I remember it vividly but can't remember pilots or crew chief.
Thanks
