I am looking for information about a Chinook or a Sea Knight that crashed on our USMC H&S 2/5 LZ in the Arizona Territory, Quang Nam Province around or on December 7, 1969. I'd like to find the names of the pilot and copilot of that aircraft. I do not have the tail number. It was a resupply helo attempting to land at our LZ to bring us food, water, and ammunition.
You can read about the crash and see the pictures I took that are on my website at: https://hotel25vv.com/helo-crash-on-our-lz-dec-7-1969 . I always wondered how those guys were and trust that they recovered from their wounds. If they are still alive and attend any of your reunions, I'd love to get in touch with them.

You could try searching on. https://www.helis.com for list of CH46 losses in Dec 69.
I have seen a chronological list by dates of losses somewhere over the years but couldn’t say exactly where right now. It would have BuNo and squadron which then could lead you to after action reports on Texas Tech. Good Luck
