Is there anyone out there that has hat this treatment for PTSD,
the claim is it is a cure. EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Please share your expericene with the treatment, problems and results.

...sorry for the long delay.....just noticed the question
EMDR is a technique of questionable value when used by those with less than complete training, and almost always when used for anything other than PTSD (its original target).
The research is very sparse yet, but there are indications that it may work about as well as placebo.....(like sugar pills) and certainly not as well as a therapeutic intervention administered by a licensed Clinical Psychologist (who may also refer you to a psychiatrist colleague) for a possible medication consultation.
Ask a qualfied Clinical Psychologist by calling the Americal Psychological Association, or your State Association for a good referral.
