Heads Up,,,For you "old dawgs" you might want to check out the Humana PPO coverage. It is better than free!! I have no stake in this but discovered it when my wife was seeking coverage. Presently, Humana will a PAY you $12 per month for Vets to join. You must have a Medicare Card and be a vet. They issue a Humana card that you use anywhere in their PPO network, nationwide. You can still use the VA. I can only assume that they have negotiated better rates than Medicare, submitt your claim to Medicare and earn a premium. For me it allows nationwide coverage,The VA facilities are not always close and convenient, I get my pharmacy from the VA, you get more coverage than Medicare A and B and I get paid $12 per month. Go figure. This is not contingent on my wifes policy. It stands alone.
