Hello Larry and all the wonderful Marines and families,

I wanted to take this time to thank the many Marines from the Combat Helicopter Association and Larry Zok for having “ Blue Eyed Soul” as your entertainment. I was welcomed and so happy many remembered me from the Bob Hope tours and my many years on the Dean Martin Show.“Pop A Smoke” Helicopter Reunion rocked!. Lindsay and I were absolutely in awe at all that we experienced. I myself felt I was a regular Washington VIP and loved attending all the special events. I was thrilled to see the Marine Barracks and the USMC Band and the fantastic Silent Drill Team. What wonderful young men and I did see a few women as well. They all looked so grand in their uniforms. I know that they are all making their parents proud. I sure was. Meeting Lt. General McCorkle, who has the best sense of humor ever, and then to hear such a great speech by General Amos was awesome. I thank you all so much for having us entertain at your banquet. I know I will never forget it and I have many precious memories to keep for many years to come.

Larry, I am so happy we connected after many years, all because of a picture and a helicopter trip in Vietnam with the Bob Hope USO show. We created many more memories. As the song goes, “Thanks For The Memories.”

Please continue to keep in touch and I do hope all Marines, will check out our web site at www.michelleandlindsay.com and drop us a line. I know I would love to hear from anyone that was there.

May God richly bless you all

With Sincere gratitude and much love to all Marines, and of course the guys from Vietnam days,

Michelle DellaFave “Blue Eyed Soul”

Thank you

Many times old vets like us feel we have been slighted by America. Participating in Popasmoke gives us a sense of perhaps our endeavers were appreciated. Your performance was great and brought back memories.

Thanks
