I'm researching my father, Sgt Raymond W. Schellinger, who served with HMM-362 from May 1968 to June 1969 as a combat aircrewman and designated aerial gunner. He earned his Combat Aircrew Wings with three stars, two Air Medals (Strike/Flight), and a Navy Achievement Medal with Combat "V" for the tour. The squadron was SLF "A" aboard USS Okinawa during part of that time.

Dad passed away in September 2023. I'm putting together his story for the family and would be grateful to hear from anyone who served with him or remembers him — stories, photos, or cruise-book pages all welcome. Please reply here on the board.

Thank you — Antoine Schellinger, son of Sgt Raymond W. Schellinger
