Here's the schedule of events for this area involving the MARINE CORPS LEAGUE and you'll notice in para. "C" that there is the offering of an engraved Memorial brick that will be placed in the Center Square of the small town of Sacaton, AZ. for fallen Servicemen. Sacaton is the birthplace and place of death of Ira H. Hayes, sound familiar. There is a major celebration there on the Anniversary of the Iwo Jima Flag Raising on or around the 23rd of Feb. each year. I couldn't believe the price of $10.00 for the engraving so, I'm looking into getting one made up for Cpl. Ron Beuster. I've already written to his family and am waiting for a reply back. Maybe you'd like to put out something so that members of 363 or other units could respond and maybe we could have some more input on this project. Your thoughts ?? Plus, I don't have T Rod's address ??? I intend to contact all the squadron or unit reps that I know of, which aren't many !! Hi to Stacy !! See Veterans Memorial Bricks above !!

Re: 68th Anniversary Iwo Jima weekend

Brook: needs further checking-as I read it, the brick costs $10.00--nothing about it being engraved. Suspect there is extra charge--engraving is expensive
