Stanley "Mike" Tanner leaving earth duty soon

My husband, Stanley "Mike" Tanner, who served in DaNang/ Marble Mountain from 1969-1971; Aviation Electronics after landing, consumer of large quantities of beer late at night, and helicopter door gunner by day... is dying of Aggressive, Large B-cell lymphoma (thanks again Agent Orange; already had lung, brain, abdominal cancer in 1996 which he miraculously was cured from, and a stroke in 2007). We expect his survival to be very short; weeks, perhaps. The globe and eagle is flying proudly outside our front door, the American Flag waves on a tall pole in our yard, and he plans on having a military funeral and will be buried in a VA cemetery in Racine, WI. Yesterday, I ordered him a complete set of dress blues, since that is how he wants to be laid to rest. I have attached a picture of us at our wedding in 1971. (He chopped off his mustache in retaliation for my cutting my hair.) The second picture was taken last month with our son, Stan III.

If any remembers Mike, and would like to send him a card before he goes; please send to: Mike Tanner 438 River Bluff Circle, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. Feel free to pass this along. Thanks! PS: you can also send us an email at: dinatanner@charter.net
